Professor Aleksandar Rikalovic is an Associate Professor of production strategies at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, and Head of Engineering Management Study Programs (BSC & MSC). Rikalovic is a team lead of the Smart Factory group at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence Serbia with a focus on process optimization, quality improvement, predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, fintech, etc. He finished his postdoctoral studies in Computer Science at the University of Milan, Italy, and start working as Visiting Professor at the University of Milan in the area of Intelligent Systems for Decision Support. Rikalovic is currently working on projects for the development of smart factories and solutions for “Industry 5.0”. He is a member of IEEE.
