Mirko Raković, as an Associate Professor of robotics and mechatronics at the University of Novi Sad, leads the robotics group that is pursuing research in robotics and human-robot interaction. Raković is a member of the IEEE RAS and IEEE CIS societies and he serves as an associate editor of the International Journal of Advanced Robotics, a member of the editorial board of Frontiers in Robotics and AI, and as a reviewer for several international journals, and conferences in the area of robotics and AI systems, as well as an external expert/reviewer for EC ERC program. During his professional career, he was also co-coordinator of the H2020 ACTICIPATE project during his Post-doctoral specialization at IST Lisboa, coordinator of Epic’s Megagrant MetaCobots project, a research associate at NTU Singapore and Technikum Vienna, and a visiting professor at SRH Heidelberg. He gave talks/lectures in prestige robotic and AI schools such as the Italian Institute of Technology, Dept. of Advanced Robotics, Univ. of Heidelberg, IWR Robotics Lab, and the Univ. of Lisbon, IST/ISR.
